Man o Man! Figuring out something to do on Saturday night with the Boyfriend is like pulling teeth. We literally have not seen each other the past two weeks because of his crazy work schedule so we want to do something fun - just the two of us. I looked into tickets to the DC Improv but they were SOLD OUT! Now I am on the lookout for something else to do a little out of the ordinary for us. The Vagina Monologues will be in Virginia this weekend but something is telling me that the Boyfriend won't allow this plan to go through.
We are still on the lookout for a tropical vacation! We are sitting down Saturday or Sunday and booking one (fingers crossed)! We don't have a specific day or time to go - just looking for deals where we will lay on the beach, get tanned skin and have a drink & book in hand. Sounds wonderful! I am ready to get away from all this dang snow - not to mention the weather men are calling for 3- 5 more inches. Are you serious?

Giant George!
Meet Giant George, a 250-pound Great Dane that stands 3 feet, 7 inches tall from paw to shoulder. The 4-year-old pup is owned by Arizona native David Nasser and today was just crowned by the Guinness folks the tallest dog ever on record!

Penny Lane Takes a Sick Day
Since Penny Lane is back to being a sick little puppy and because the boyfriend is busy with making life changes, Penny Lane came to work with me today! Ever since Saturday, she hasn't been able to move - she won't even drink water or go potty! oh no! I didn't want to leave her alone at home for 12 hours today since she is so helpless so I brought her into work. She has been on my lap the entire day and hasn't moved. She is such a sweet little girl. Below is a picture of her being a working woman!

Snowpocalypse!
Dc was hit hard this year with Snow & Ice. It is a record breaking winter! I have been to work one day in a week, talk about cabin fever. The airports are closed, school closed, government closed, basically everything is closed but a few bars. Imagine that!

Hair!
I am hoping to get my hair done very soon - keeping my fingers crossed for Saturday! I may be having a quarter life crisis...I feel so ugly. No matter how I style my hair, no matter how I do my makeup, no matter how new my clothes are, when I look in the mirror, I don't feel very attractive. Looking through old pictures, I think it should be a simple fix...My HAIR! The last time I had it done was about 5 months and it was done with so many lo-lites, it is near my natural mousy dishwater blonde color-yuck! I want it BLONDE and I want side bangs.

Snow-mageddon
...that is what the weathermen in the DC area are calling the snowstorm we are supposed to get this weekend. Most offices and schools were either closed today in anticipation or closed at noon. If it is as bad as we are led to believe, we should expect to see around 23 inches of snow. wowsers!
I took my day working from home to experiment with dinner...I am making chicken and dumplings in the crock pot. It has been in for about 4 hours right now and it does not lok or smell appetizing at all so it could be a complete waste of time, food, and energy. Time will tell!

Sowwy Blog Man
Sowwy Blog Man. I have been a really bad blog poster. The end of the months are never promising - just so you know, but please accept this as my apology for neglecting you.
On another note, I am exhausted! A colleague and I were in Vegas over the weekend for a Bridal Show and we were sure to enjoy the city while we were there. The late nights, early mornings, and the red eye back to the office on Monday was BRUTAL to say the least. Coffee is not leaving my little fingers and i NEVER drink coffee - I am a tea person, through and through.
I am upset because the boyfriend is traveling AGAIN! What in the world!?!? This is the second week in a row and I am sick and tired of it. I hate going to bed alone, waking up alone, eating dinner alone...
Also, there are snow showers in the District. blah! This is such a pain on my morning commutes to work. Not to mention the fact that the babies will not go outside because they are afraid to step on anything "white". We have opened up the back deck for them to use until we can see patches of grass again - poor little things.
