Getting Back to Real Life...

My NYC trip was F.U.N. I seriously had a BLAST with the much needed J-Bird time. We did typical girl things such as gossip, talk about boys & relationships, dance, shop, drink wine, and watch movies. We saw Sex & The City 2 and it was not good. It had a few "warm, fuzzy" parts to it that made you appreciate your girlfriends and fun times with them but the whole thing just didn't make sense.

Spoiler Alert: Like When Big punishes Carrie for kissing Aiden in the Middle East by giving her a 5 karat black diamond ring that "she has to wear for the rest of her life" is just absurd. If that was me, I would be doing bad things all of the time because that punishment is more like a reward. Yikes!

Now that I am back to my real life in Bethesda and at work, I am even more jealous of sisterfish who is STILL ON HER HONEYMOON in Hawaii!

Also, I don't want to jinx it, but our house is SOLD! I am not "sold" on the idea until I see the BIG RED sign in our yard that reads "SOLD." Supposedly, the people want to move in by June 29th so we need to get to packing up all of our belongings and find a place to go, which as of right now is Kevin's parent's basement!

I do not have much to report on today but wanted to recommend three sites to check out if you find yourself bored and near a computer. I want to make sure you are aware that they are highly addictive...and don't say I didn't warn you!

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Adam Younger

This is my beautiful friend megan. Ms. megan got hitched to a dream guy named adam on april 17, 2010 in tell city, indiana. Here you can see how beautiful she is!

Here is a picture of me and the bride at the reception. We had the times of our lives. This is a great picture to show off our classy Purple Bridesmaid dresses. We were the talk of the town - I can't count on two hands how many people complimented the dresses!

Friday Night Fun

It isn't fun unless it is challenging! :)

That is exactly what happened tonight. me with a bottle of wine. the boyfriend with a few beers. ground turkey, garlic, soy, terriyaki, onion, crackers, an egg, my favorite couple salt & pepper, lettuce, tomatoes, and ketchup. All of this = home made TURKEY BURGERS. and believe it or not, they were DE-LIC-IOUS!

Taco Tuesday and the Usual Suspects

Guess what today is.... TACO TUESDAY! HOOORAY!

I had a fabulous weekend! On Friday, the sales team started drinking at 3 in the afternoon. We were playing drinking games in the conference room, which means by 6pm, we were feeling great! The boyfriend picked me up that evening and took me to dinner at Sushi and then we went to Ri Ra (Irish Pub in Bethesda) to listen to live music. Saturday was errands day and then the boyfriend and I went to downtown DC with friends to bowl at Lucky Strike. With a 4 hour wait, they were not allowing us in so we went to Clyde's for dinner and drinks. I had the most AMAZING Thai Turkey Burger - YUMMY! I am craving it again!

Sunday we went house shopping - talk about stressful! We found one house we ADORED but they were looking for an offer that evening and we don't feel we have seen enough to commit, not to mention the fact that our current house isn't even on the market yet. Yikes!

As you can see, my weekend was packed, which means no time to blog. Yesterday FLEW BY! I wish i could say the same for today...
