Come Quick & Stay Awhile

I know, I know. I am falling behind on my posts. I have been swamped at work - end of quarter and I am the only one who has yet to hit her sales goal. Imagine that! Trying to slave away so that I can reach my goal - I have four more business days. We shall see how it ends up.

Kevin and I did drive bys last night to look at houses in Rockville. Glad we did, otherwise we would be wasting our time and the realtors time looking at the places. they looked great online and the location seemed perfect but we have come to the conclusion that Kevin HATES Rockville and "would rather die than live in one of those houses!" Talk about being a drama queen. It is so hard because we really have our hearts set on a house in Silver Spring because the location is perfect, it has everything we want in a house, and we could renovate it the way we want but we are unsure of its true condition, i.e. plumbing and foundation. We don't want to buy a lemon so we would have to spend several hundred dollars to pay someone to check it out and then not even know if the bank will accept our offer since it is Bank Owned. Do you understand my stress level now?

Penny Lane is back up to 95%! She is barking, chasing, and playing just like the old days. Her cortisone shot and medicine is really helping her! It is so nice to have our little Penny Lane back.

Tomorrow is Friday, which means the weekend is fast approaching - come quick weekend and stay awhile!

A Very Bad Blogger Indeed

So I have been a very bad blogger. My last post was the end of October. Holy moly!

My new job at WeddingWire has kept me extremely busy - sorry for the short hiatus. I promise to not leave you hanging again.

Where should I Start on the updates? 1. casey got her wedding dress (which is beautiful!) 2. we are selling the boyfriend's house in the new year so we can get our own place together 3. mother bear vistied for 2 weeks and it was glorious 4. dc had a blizzard that kept us indoors for three long days - thank goodness for movies, games, and adult beverages 4. penny and lukie are doing great 5. the boyfriend and i couldn't be better and 6. I can't believe it is soon to be the end of a decade.

Nothing much is going on in the little life of vanessa. I am very nervous and anxious because i am going to the doctor tomorrow for a sonogram. My *lady doctor* found a lump and is sending me to get it checked out. I am sure that it is nothing but I still can't help but to be nervous. The "C" word is so very scary. Please keep your little fingers crossed for me to receive a clean bill of health.
